Juniors Show Their Basketball Skills

The fifth season of the Royal Bafokeng Jr NBA/Jr WNBA League concluded in style with four championship games in middle school and high school categories in the presence of His Majesty Kgosi 

Leruo Molotlegi, Queen Mother Mmemogolo Semane Molotlegi, 1992 Slam Dunk Champion and former NBA All-Star Cedric Ceballos, former WNBA player and Mozambique legend Clarisse Machanguana and the Atlanta Hawks Sky Squad.

The Royal Bafokeng Jr NBA /Jr WNBA Finals held at the Royal Bafokeng Sports Palace in Phokeng, Rustenburg, were part of a two-day celebration of the fifth anniversary of the NBA and Royal Bafokeng Sports’ partnership and the NBA’s premier youth basketball program on the continent.

The weekend of celebrations also included the first International Sports Entrepreneurship and Mentorship Forum hosted at Lebone II College in Phokeng on Friday and celebratory gala dinner the same evening.
