Ibaka African Player of the Week In NBA

Oklahoma City Thunder (OKC) forward Serge Ibaka has been great for most of the season, but in the last four games played from 4-11 January the Congolese was superb, claiming this week SuperSport African Player of the Week.

Ibaka averaged 13 points, 4 rebounds and 2 blocks in four games, and the Thunder went on to improve to 26-12 record.

Although the Thunder lost 117-113 at Portland Trail Blazers, Ibaka’s three-point accuracy couldn’t go unnoticed.

He made all his four-point attempts to go with 14 points in 36 minutes.
