Hell YEAH : Gabrielle Union Just Threw Epic Shade at Stacey Dash
Gabrielle Union just gave us all the life we needed when asked about Stacey Dash and her now-infamous comments about diversity, BET and Black History Month.
According to Yahoo, when asked by a reporter at the Sundance Film Festival how she felt about Dash's "clueless" comments, the Being Mary Jane star replied, "Who's that?"
She continued, "Who’s Stacey Dash? Is she like related to Dame Dash? Was she on Roc-A-Fella?”
Union, who is a part of the BET family, explained she believes the network, the BET Awards and other Black media are necessary because they celebrate a part of culture largely ignored by the mainstream. Her antidote for those who think like Dash? “The more that we focus on inclusion and a true representation of this country, I think that crazy lady will have less to say,” she concluded.
