INJURY NEWS:-Neymar suffers slight groin injury in training

 Leaving training session due to the injury.
  Neymar’s misfortune in the final training session ahead of Wednesday’s game against Bayer Leverkusen was
to suffer a slight groin injury on his left side which means his recovery will dictate his availability for the coming fixtures.He is scheduled to be out for 10 days.

This setback comes just the day before match day 6 in the Champions League and the game in the BayArena. Barça’s next game is againstDeportivo La Coruña on Saturday at Camp Nou (4.00pm CET) and that will be followed by the semi-final of the FIFA World Club Cup in Japan on Thursday 17 December at 11.30am CET.

The Brazilian’s injury comes at a moment when he is in the form of his life. The striker is currently the top scorer in the Spanish League on 14 goals and was recently named as player of the month for November by 
the LFP (Spanish Football League).Neymar is currently the top scorer in the Spanish First Division with 14 goals.

While rising to stardom, the Brazilian striker has remained humble ever since he landed in Barcelona for the 2013/14 season, vowing to improve every day while thanking his teammates for their support.

Astonishingly, not only is this the first time Neymar has won the Spanish League's player of the month award, it is the first time any FC Barcelona player has taken it home at all.

The last time Neymar was missing for Barça came at the start of the season when a bout of mumps forced him out of the Spanish Super Cup tie against Athletic Bilbao and also out of the first game of the league season. Since then he has played in 18 out of 20 matches, scoring 16 goals in all competitions bringing his all time total for Barça to 70 in just 110 games which has earned him the prestigeous Ballon d'Or shortlist 2015 with Lionel Messi&Cristiano Ronaldo in contention.
